What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and 3-max GPPs are my preferred format. We get the Sharks on a back-to-back, so we know by now that’s where we should be attacking. I’ll try to be different by playing a contrarian stack such as TOR2 with my chalky Devils stack.
Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format for this slate. As usual, anyone taking on the San Jose Sharks is going to get the most attention, and finding a path where the New Jersey Devils fail is difficult to do, as they catch the Sharks on the tail end of a back-to-back. I will look to get a few Devils pieces in each lineup and differentiate elsewhere.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
