What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – I’ll probably be getting a little more unique with my stack structure tonight. I don’t think the standard 3–3 stacks are going to look great. I’ll be looking at a lot of 3-man stacks with strong correlation and then adding Auston Matthews as a one-off and seeing how I can best build around that.
Joda: Single-entry tournaments are my preferred format tonight. I am not thrilled about the options for this slate on the whole and find it more conducive to taking a stand on the best plays on the slate. Auston Matthews is my favorite, but he is not someone who is attached to stack partners. I think the most interesting game of the slate is the DET/VAN game. Detroit has some high-end options worth targeting, and on the flip side, Vancouver has cheap forwards that could take advantage of a Red Wings team that cannot get any semblance of goaltending.
