What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – I will have some lineups with PIT1 and CBJ1. They have poor value when looking at their prices and their matchups, but they do have full power-play correlation and should not garner much ownership. I will look to goalie stack them with their team’s starting goalie for a low-owned, high-leverage play that should do pretty well if the top lines come through. In a 5-game slate, just getting a few goals from the top line and a win from the goalie could be enough to win.

Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format for this slate. With just 5 games on the slate, there are a couple of intriguing lines that have my interest. Auston Matthews is the standout expensive play, and he is easy to fit with some affordable secondary stacks around him. Nikita Kucherov has slate-breaking upside and will come at an ownership discount as well. If any goalie checks in with heavy ownership, I think stacking against him could be worthwhile to surge to the top of the leaderboard if he falls flat.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
