What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – Knowing what to do with Auston Matthews is probably the key to the slate. I think the best way to play him will likely be in 2-man stacks with Mitch Marner, but using him as a one-off is always an option, as well as stacking him with Matthew Knies or stacking the power play. I prefer 2-man stacks because Knies is quite expensive, and power-play stacks are probably overrated with Matthews. Compared to other elite players, he has relatively little reliance on the power play to put up his points.

Joda: Small-field tournaments are my preferred format tonight. The pricing dynamic tonight is head-scratching, with a plethora of players, particularly forwards, massively overpriced. Auston Matthews is the clearest play on the slate, perhaps the most obvious play of the season. Saving salary on the blue line is the most direct path to being able to afford him and his teammates.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
