NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Saturday, April 11
Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?
Moneyball16: Macklin Celebrini
TastefulTides: Macklin Celebrini
Hunter4ever89: Macklin Celebrini
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – Colorado locked up the Presidents’ Trophy and the #1 seed throughout the playoffs last game, so they have a sudden incentive to sit some players. Combine that with it generally being difficult to find Colorado news beforehand, and you might have a situation where you avoid the Avs unless there is some sort of confirmation before lock. Season after season, Las Vegas seems to take the fewest penalties in the league, so it is an overrated matchup for the Avs studs anyway.
TastefulTides: Single entry is my preferred format. San Jose will be my first priority due to the incredible matchup. San Jose still has a small chance at making the playoffs, so they will be full steam ahead in terms of playing time and motivation. If you want to spread out a little, I would be looking at Seattle and Montreal as my next favorite teams.
Hunter4ever89: With the lack of larger high-stakes contests today, I will be focusing on large-field MME tournaments. I want to match or be over the field with my San Jose and Montreal stacks and mix in basically every other team on the slate. We need to pay attention to news all day and look for late changes during warm-ups. We have seen some teams rest players, as they have their playoff positions locked up, while other teams out of the playoff race shut players down completely. Be sure to tune into the NHL channel in our RotoGrinders Discord for updates throughout the day.

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
