What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs. I am probably going to be a bit of a broken record down the stretch, but I will be paying additional attention to news. If a team doesn’t have anything to play for and doesn’t go through morning line rushes, I am going to act as if we could get some rested players. We’ve already seen it in the early games with Washington, Colorado, and Florida. Vegas, Dallas, and Winnipeg technically have something to play for, but not much, and Utah and Vancouver were recently eliminated from the playoffs.

TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs. We are getting down to the last weekend of the regular season. Make sure to look out for last-minute lineup updates in our NHL Discord. I want to lean on the Maple Leafs and Jets as my spend-up options and the Kraken for my value. The Kraken have nothing to play for, but they continue playing their regular players and lines.

Hunter4ever89: I prefer the large-field tournaments. With only a handful of days left in the regular season, we have a few teams playing for seeding and a couple of teams in essentially must-win games tonight. I want to be overweight on the teams that still have something to play for. In the Western Conference, the Wild and Blues need points to hold off the Flames in the wild-card race, while the Canadiens still need to lock up the final spot in the East.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
