What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – One hidden play I like tonight is Lukas Dostal, IF you are going to be around before his late game to see whether or not he is starting. He was in net for the Ducks last night, but he was pulled after only 14 minutes played, and the coach indicated that the team playing tomorrow was “part of it.” So I think he might start again tonight, and he’d be a good play at low ownership. The Ducks are a favorite in this one despite Dostal’s low price, and the Blue Jackets are a good team to go up against for shots because they have the 3rd-lowest shooting% in the league. Check out our great NHL Discord channel to get all the news before all the games, including the late Ducks game.
TastefulTides: Single-entry and 3-max GPPs. It seems as if the cheap Kraken are getting a lot of love early in projections. I think in GPPs, I will be taking an underweight approach or fading them. I really like the Blue Jackets and Bruins as the teams that I am likely to be the most overweight on.
Hunter4ever89: I prefer the single-entry and 3-max tournaments today. We don’t have any super-large implied goal totals, and I think we see ownership spread out a bit. I normally prefer 3-4 player stacks in these tournaments, but I find making some 2-2-2 lineups to be a bit more unique. This will also allow me to spread out my exposure in these smaller-field GPPs.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
