What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – FLA1 is going to be an obvious GPP play, and they aren’t a bad one. They have relatively cheap prices and a strong matchup, but I like looking at the lower-owned 2nd and 3rd line for the Panthers as well. Shockingly, in terms of producing expected goals, the 2nd and 3rd lines have actually been better, with FLA1 having been an elite defensive line in their time together; FLA1 just hasn’t produced the offense we would expect.
TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. The Panthers are going to be the chalk team on this slate. While I don’t mind them for cash games, I think I will be pivoting to Toronto for GPP formats. Outside of Matthews, the Toronto team is underpriced.
Hunter4ever89: My preferred tournament is going to be the main $20 contest on DraftKings. While the top line in Florida is my favorite overall stack, their underlying metrics together aren’t great this season. However, this is a small sample of only around 66 minutes at even strength, and if you go back to the past 2 seasons, their numbers look a lot better. With that being said, I may come in over the field on both the Florida offense and San Jose’s goaltender.
