What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – There is a real lack of solid even-strength line stacks tonight, so I am probably going to go heavy on 2-2-2 builds with 2 correlated defensemen and 3-2 stacks. When there is a lack of good 5v5 line stacks, something like Konecny / Cates / Foerster or the Minnesota 1st line with full power-play correlation looks better than it normally would.
TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. There are plenty of really solid value plays on this slate. This should lead lineup construction to a more stars-and-scrubs approach. The Maple Leafs’ and Rangers’ top power-play stacks are my favorites for spend-up options, with the Canucks’ top power-play unit being my favorite contrarian stack.
Hunter4ever89: I prefer the high-stakes, small-field contests tonight. With a lot of teams in decent matchups, I think we will see ownership be a little more spread out. Auston Matthews may be the exception, as he is one of the few expensive pay-up options. I will look to get over the field on the Rangers and the Hurricanes, while also getting to some one-off plays from the Kings. The Minnesota top line has been putting up great underlying numbers and not converting. While they have slowed games down recently (resulting in low scores), I don’t mind getting to them in some large-field GPPs.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
