What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – There are a lot of uneven lines without power-play correlation on this slate so I will be looking to get more creative than normal. Jack Eichel, Auston Matthews, and Kirill Kaprizov are the top pay-up options, and they do not have elite correlation with any other great plays, so I will be playing them more as one-offs than I normally would. This makes a fully correlated line with a great matchup like the Kings’ top line more appealing as well. Another unique feature of this slate is that every single team is on the 2nd night of a back-to-back, so the opposing goalie quality is especially worth paying attention to.

TastefulTides: Single-entry and 3-max GPPs are my preferred format. I am going to get heavy exposure to the Wild. Despite not playing on the same even-strength line, Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy are both going to make my primary single-entry team. If you are looking to expand your player pool, I think the Red Wings should be able to beat up on a shorthanded Bruins team that played yesterday.

Hunter4ever89: Single-entry and 3-max GPPs are my preferred format. We had more games than usual yesterday with Thursday being an off day for Thanksgiving, so we likely won’t get much news before each game’s warmups. Vegas is by far the biggest favorite on the slate, and after yesterday’s loss, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw new line combinations in pre-game line rushes. This makes lineup construction extremely difficult given that there will only be two games left to lock. I will look to be overweight on this game and have a few swaps ready to make my lineups unique.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
