What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: I will be playing large-field GPPs. Early on this season, I have seen too much recency bias when it comes to goalie. I will be fading the hot goalie hand. Goalie is volatile and much harder than people think to predict, and because of that, I will be underweight on early standouts like Gustavsson and Stolarz, and I like someone like Ingram as a GPP play if he starts tonight.
TastefulTides: Single-entry and smaller-field GPPs are my preferred GPP format. This is a pretty interesting slate. There isn’t one overwhelming chalky team or stack. I am going to go fairly heavy on the Wild despite their playing on the road. The Blue Jackets are a below-average defensive team that should struggle against this high-powered top line for the Wild.
Hunter4ever89: I will primarily play my normal small-field, high-stakes tournaments. We have seen DraftKings price up some of the rookies and other players who have increased usage this season. I will focus on making my tournament lineups with concentrated correlation as opposed to earlier in the season when pricing made it hard to fade nearly minimum-salary players with fantastic roles.

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
