What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – After a large slate yesterday, we have another large slate today, so there are lots of backup goalies in and lots of teams on back-to-backs. It’s a good slate to look a little deeper into matchup quality. The Lightning and the Islanders are the only rested teams playing teams that played last night, so both of those are underrated matchups, especially for Tampa. They not only have the rest advantage, but they are likely facing Ales Stezka, who is making his NHL debut in net. Nashville is another team that maybe has an underrated matchup at home versus the Devil’s 3rd-string goaltender.
Hunter4ever89: I will be focusing on small-field and single-entry GPPs today. I will look to be overweight on Auston Matthews in particular. I love the matchup, but I don’t think you need to stack him with his linemates in every lineup. I plan to have more of a 3-2-1 or 2-2-2 stacking approach tonight. I like the way these builds come together and believe it is the best way to exploit the Draftkings pricing.

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
