What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. Toronto is going to be clear chalk. We have the value on this slate to roster three of the pricey Toronto players. I am going to look for contrarian goalies and filler lines to make sure I have the proper amount of differentiation with my chalky Toronto stack.
Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format tonight. Building lineups without Toronto players is immediately contrarian, and we have seen the Leafs play down to their competition time and time again. A couple of lines that interest me are Tampa Bay’s top 6, Montreal’s top line, and Pittsburgh’s top line, as they are fully correlated, and getting to them is not really viable if targeting Toronto’s top 6.
