NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Thursday, October 29
Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?
TastefulTides: Macklin Celebrini
boggslite: Macklin Celebrini
Joda: Macklin Celebrini
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Buffalo and San Jose are my two favorite teams to stack tonight. However, I do expect the Sharks to be fairly chalky tonight, so I think how you approach them depends on your contest selection. Buffalo isn’t going to be as popular, so I think if you have teams that are doing well in the early window, you can stay on your San Jose stacks, but if you think you are falling behind early, you can swap onto Buffalo to differentiate.
boggslite: With 11 games on tonight’s slate, I plan to spread my exposure around to several different teams. San Jose, Minnesota, Carolina, Dallas, and Buffalo are the teams I plan to build around. I will likely pay up at goalie, as I don’t think the risk of spending down at the position tonight is worth the reward.
Joda: I like paying up at goalie and utilizing power-play stacks with Minnesota, where you can take minimum-salary Max Shabanov to save money while still getting correlation. Buffalo and San Jose are two other stacks I like, as I’m continuing to target teams with weak defensive metrics and poor goaltending.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
