What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – There is a lack of good three-forward line stacks tonight, so I will be looking to get more creative with stack constructions. Two-man forward stacks with a correlating defenseman might look more appealing. Also, hopefully we get news on it, but the late game between San Jose and Anaheim is one to watch for news, with Troy Terry being questionable and the Sharks juggling lines and losing often. There should be value in that game between two bad teams.
boggslite: Large-field tournaments are my preference. Outside of Tampa Bay, I prefer targeting mid-range stacks tonight. There’s not a lot of great value to be had, making a balanced approach to building lineups ideal for me tonight. Columbus is my top team to target, with secondary lines to pair them coming from Ottawa or San Jose.
Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format tonight. Without the usual superstars on this slate that can burn you in a hurry, building balanced lineups makes sense. Columbus will likely command a large share of the market ownership given their palatable price tags, but there are plenty of paths tonight. I like Dylan Cozens in a revenge spot against his old team. He, Drake Batherson and Jake Sanderson make for a high-upside pivot without sacrificing too much projection. Nikita Kucherov is on fire and could be overlooked against an Islanders team that has dropped 5 straight games.
