NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Tuesday, October 20
Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?
Moneyball16: Matthew Schaefer
Joda: Matthew Schaefer
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: I like targeting some great matchups on this slate. The Ducks, Leafs, and Sharks are all bad defensive teams playing on the road after playing last night. That makes their opponents, the Islanders, Blue Jackets, and Canadiens, nice plays. On top of that, all 3 of those teams have top lines that are fully correlated on the top power-play unit.
Joda: I am not enamored with the superstars tonight, so I prefer midrange builds centered on 3-man or 4-man stacks with the Blue Jackets, Canadiens, and Islanders. All of them are in favorable situational spots, with Toronto, San Jose, and Anaheim on the second night of a back-to-back. Each team has an elite PP1 defenseman and cheap PP1 pieces to build around, like Kent Johnson ($4,000), Zach Bolduc ($2,700), and Simon Holmstrom ($3,000).
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
