NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Tuesday, October 27
Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?
Moneyball16: Macklin Celebrini
boggslite: Macklin Celebrini
Joda: Macklin Celebrini
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Despite liking a lot of the Ducks with their great matchup at home vs. the Canucks, I probably won’t be playing a lot of full 5v5 line stacks. Last game, the top 2 lines had Judd Caulfield and Jeff Malott as 3rd wheels too, and they played significantly fewer 5v5 minutes than their PP1 linemates. 2-man mini stacks or power-play stacks make more sense.
boggslite: My focus will be building around the top line of San Jose and the top power-play unit for Anaheim. The LA/CHI game is another game I’m interested in both sides of, but I don’t see much potential for high-scoring games outside of the games I mentioned.
Joda: With the usual superstars getting the night off, I’m leaning into full-line stacks for maximum correlation. The Sharks top line stands out with Macklin Celebrini and an increased role for Ivar Stenberg against poor Buffalo goaltending. St. Louis is my favorite under-the-radar stack, and building around them should help differentiate without chasing the same expensive names.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
