What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and 3-max contests are my preferred formats. Deciding what to do with Seattle is going to be tough. On the one hand, they are playing the Sharks, who are dead last in goals allowed; on the other hand, they are going to be very highly owned on this small slate. I think right now I am looking to fade them because I believe they will be overowned. I am hoping that if they do score, they can keep the goals spread out so one skater or line stack doesn’t break the slate.
boggslite: I’m playing single-entry tonight. It will be tough to fade Auston Matthews, especially with plenty of decent value options to choose from. I will likely be over the field, as he draws a solid matchup at home against a Utah team that will be playing on the tail end of a back-to-back. Seattle will likely be very chalky, but I think Calgary and Vancouver are interesting pivots given their matchups.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
