NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, December 15

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

TastefulTides: Mika Zibanejad – None of the big name centers are on tonight’s six game slate so we will be looking at a much different type of lineup construction. The Rangers are playing at MSG with the largest implied team total on the night. Mika is far too cheap across the industry and fits nicely with the balanced build approach.

boggslite: Artemi Panarin – He has clicked with Vincent Trocheck on New York’s second line this season where home ice gives him the best matchups at even strength. Also a beast on the league’s second-ranked power play, I especially like Panarin’s chances of breaking through on the man advantage against a Ducks team that is the most penalized team in the NHL this season.

Joda: Artemi Panarin – Panarin sits 5th in the NHL with 4.4 points per 60 minutes at all strengths. Long seen as a “pass-first” player, he has improved his individual chance creation this season. The Ducks are in a tailspin and take too many penalties. Panarin should coast to a multi-point effort.

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
