NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, March 22

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

TastefulTides: Sebastian Aho – He is my favorite play if you simply want to take your chances and fade Nathan MacKinnon and the expensive pieces of Colorado. He and his linemates are fully correlated at 5v5 and on the power play. Aho and Jake Guentzel are a very high-talent duo that do have the ability to beat the likes of MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen. As much as I find that scenario unlikely, there is always merit in MME to find high-ceiling plays with low projected ownership.

boggslite: Jason Robertson – If you’re looking to differentiate your lineup from the massive chalk of COL 1, consider taking Robertson, who has managed 70 points in as many games after a slow start to the year. Skating on DAL’s top line, home ice advantage will get him the better matchups at even strength against a Penguins team that has essentially thrown in the towel for this season.

What’s your hot take of the slate?
