NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, November 24

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

TastefulTides: Nathan MacKinnon – Make sure to be in the NHL Discord channel pre-lock to make sure that he is in fact playing. Assuming he is healthy, this is as good a spot that you could possibly ask for. Minnesota has the worst penalty kill in all of hockey. Even playing on the road, MacKinnon has the best floor/ceiling combination on the slate.

boggslite: Mikko Rantanen – With MacKinnon’s availability in question after blocking a shot in the team’s last game, Rantanen instantly becomes my top overall play tonight. We are hoping MacKinnon plays, but Rantanen has proven he can carry the load offensively even in the absense of MacKinnon and he draws a solid power play matchup against a MIN team that ranks dead last in PK% this season.

Joda: Nathan MacKinnon – He did get an X-ray after the Vancouver game, so we will want to make sure he will not miss any time. I doubt it is anything serious, but keep it in mind. In any case, Minnesota’s penalty kill sits dead last in the NHL at 65.5%. MacKinnon has been relatively snake-bitten concerning goals, but Minnesota’s goaltending has been a disaster this season.

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
