NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, February 26

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Moneyball16: Andre Burakovsky – His minutes have been up recently, and so have his shots. Eventually, some goals have to start going in. He’s only shooting 2.6% on the season, whereas for any of his 9 previous seasons, he had a shooting percentage above 10%. Even his recent line with Jaden Schwartz and Alex Wennberg has performed pretty well when it comes to possession of the puck, but the puck has not been going in for them either, with a shooting percentage of 1.7% for the line at even strength on the season.

Joda : Tim Stuetzle – Tim is not on the top power play, but he has 3 goals and 3 assists in his last 5 games. He should see a majority of his even-strength time against the Alex Ovechkin line, which continues to surrender scoring chances at an alarming rate. Ottawa has looked much more formidable over the past week, so I like taking chances on them rather than the Capitals due to ownership.
