NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, November 25

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Moneyball16: Nathan MacKinnon – You can find value on this slate. MacKinnon is the top pay-up play, and his line mate Nichushkin is one of the other top plays on the slate. His goal rate should go up when his shooting% goes back to his career rates as well too.

TastefulTides: Nathan MacKinnon – Both teams are playing their second game in two nights, but the advantage is with the Avs in this one. Just because MacKinnon hasn’t scored a goal in seven straight games doesn’t mean he can’t be productive and put up a big fantasy performance. He will eventually start scoring goals like he always does, and when he does, you will have to have to him to win a GPP.

Joda: Jack Hughes – New Jersey is mired in a terrible slump at the moment, and Jack is not happy about it. Buffalo is a team that has too many defensive breakdowns per game, and that spells trouble against a desperate Devils squad. Look for Hughes to coast to 5+ SOG and find the scoresheet at least once with upside for much more.

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
