NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, March 24

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Moneyball16: Nikita Kucherov – Anaheim is a tremendous matchup for him. It’s not just because they allow 16% more goals than the average team, but also because they easily lead the league in power plays against. Kucherov is maybe the best power-play player in the world, with over 50 power-play points in both this year and last year.

Joda: Nikita Kucherov – The NHL points leader gets a matchup against an undisciplined Anaheim team that is ineffective on the penalty kill. We saw what Kucherov did to the Sharks the other night, and it would not be a surprise to see more of the same this evening. Count on Kucherov for a multi-point effort.

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
