NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, March 3

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Moneyball16: Matt Boldy – We have seen 11 games now with Boldy on the top line with Kaprizov and Ek, and Boldy has absolutely crushed with 14 points and 46 shots. The line has been one of the best in the league, and here they have the best matchup in the league at home versus San Jose.

Joda: Kirill Kaprizov – San Jose did well to scrape out a point against Dallas last night, but doing it on consecutive nights against one of the hottest lines in hockey seems unlikely. While the Wild have dropped three straight, the Sharks should be no match for Minnesota’s top line. Expect them to be popular and for good reason.

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
