NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday, December 7

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

TastefulTides: Nathan MacKinnon – There is a lot of news to consider for the Avs this evening. Hopefully we have more information later in the day, specifically about Cale Makar. Regardless of who is skating with whom at even strength or on the power play, MacKinnon is the top skater on the slate. He can carry the entire load for this team by himself. He still hasn’t had a big goal-scoring night but is still putting up massive fantasy numbers. When he eventually starts finding the back of the net, he will be a must-have, even for the largest-field GPPs.

ezellmt: David Pastrnak – He has a goalscoring prop of -145 thanks to a juicy matchup at home to the dreadful Sabres. He’s coming off a rare dud in his last game and should be a near lock to pick up the 5+ SOG bonus after just two in his last game. In his only other meeting against the Sabres this year, he had a goal and two assists, and I think he could be in for a similar outing tonight.

boggslite: Nathan MacKinnon – On home ice where he plays his best hockey, MacKinnon continues to produce despite COL dealing with a number of injuries. Capable of carrying his linemates, MacKinnon’s cheap wingers offer solid value in GPPs, making him a solid overall option to pay up for tonight.

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
