NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday, March 28

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

TastefulTides: Filip Forsberg – I will wait to see what projected ownership comes in on NSH1 and NSHPP1, but it seems as if the hottest team in hockey may go overlooked on this massive 14-game slate. Forsberg has 6 goals and 5 assists over his last 6 games. He has put up over 30 DK points in 3 out of his last 4 games. I would love to get to a 2-man stack of Filip Forsberg and Roman Josi if it’s going to be contrarian. I don’t think this is the game where the Predators cool off.

ezellmt: Filip Forsberg – While I expect him to garner slightly more ownership than he did on Tuesday, I still think it’ll stay in the single digits. Over his last 10 games, Forsberg has 11 goals and 8 assists while averaging 4.8 shots per game. Those numbers look similar or better to the likes of Matthews and company but at a discount in both price and ownership. The matchup against Arizona isn’t a scary one, especially for the hottest team in the NHL.

Joda: Travis Konecny – Konecny has come down in price on DK, where he is just $6,000 after being $7,000+ a month ago. With optimal roster construction leading down a path of Auston Matthews and cheap Pittsburgh pieces, it is unlikely that people want to allocate this much salary toward a Philadelphia guy, even though the matchup is great.

What’s your hot take of the slate?
