NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday, November 2

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

TastefulTides: Connor McDavid – This is a massive slate with plenty of strong options to spend up for. The Dallas Stars are a good defensive team but are playing their second game in as many nights on the road. They had to earn a tough win against the Flames last night, and this will be a much more difficult test. I would give a big upgrade to McDavid and the Oilers in general if Scott Wedgewood is starting at goal for Dallas.

ezellmt: Elias Pettersson – The Sharks are on-pace to be one of the worst teams in recent memory, putting Pettersson and the Canucks in a great spot tonight. He’s coming off a hat trick and five SOG. While he’s unlikely to match that, multiple points is a realistic expectation.

boggslite: Connor McDavid – With Matthews and Hughes drawing tough matchups on the road, McDavid instantly becomes my top overall play tonight. He doesn’t have a great matchup himself, but home ice will allow EDM to control the pace and he could get a few extra PP opportunities facing a veteran DAL team that will be playing on tired legs playing on back to back nights.

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
