NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday, October 26

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

TastefulTides: David Pastrnak – A toss up between Pasta and MacKinnon for me for who had the best floor/ceiling combination on the slate. I decided that due to the matchup and the fact Pasta has home ice he would be my top overall play. Boston is a little overrated in my opinion despite not losing a game so far this season. Pasta was left off the scoresheet last time against this same Ducks team just a couple of nights ago, but now should be able to stay away from their best lines because of the home ice advantage. Pasta and that top line with full correlation should be in for a big night.

ezellmt: Nathan MacKinnon – I love Pasta as much as the next guy (pappardelle is one of my favorites), but I still like MacKinnon the most tonight. Pastrnak is an elite scorer, but his ice time is in the 17-18 minute range as opposed to MacKinnon’s 21+. MacKinnon’s matchup isn’t as good as others on the slate, but he’s also playing on a different level, averaging 6.5 SOG on the season.

boggslite: David Pastrnak – He’s quiet over his past two games but tonight he has a great opportunity to get back on track against a Ducks team that can be exposed on the road and continues to take too many penalties for their own good.

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
