NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, March 12

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Moneyball16: Michael Bunting – Since the trade to Pittsburgh, we have not seen him get a point yet. However, he does have 7 shots in those 2 games, is playing over 19 minutes a game (after averaging 15 minutes a game in Carolina), and is playing with Sidney Crosby. So despite being traded to a worse team, his quality of teammate has not decreased.

ezellmt: Connor Bedard – It’s possible his ownership gets steamed up because people have been looking for a chance to play him, but I don’t think it’ll be too high. He’s averaging almost a point per game for the season. Over his last 3 games, he has 5 points and 2 games of 5+ SOG. He’ll face an equally bad Ducks team notorious for taking too many penalties, which should give him plenty of power play opportunities.

Joda: Travis Konecny – Even with Philadelphia having a great matchup against San Jose, I do not think DFS players will allocate too much salary to Philadelphia. Konecny is a nice pivot from what should be a popular Matt Boldy in a similar price range. Konecny will be leaned upon heavily for a Philadelphia team fighting for the playoffs.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
