NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, March 26
Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
Moneyball16: Roman Josi – Vegas is a good team, but I think the matchup is underrated with it being in Nashville. Vegas played last night and are without Adin Hill. On top of that, Josi has both the track record and the recent play of an elite defenseman.
ezellmt: Filip Forsberg – Forsberg seems to be popular in good matchups and ignored in perceived bad ones. The matchup with Vegas isn’t ideal, but it isn’t as bad as people perceive it to be, especially when they played last night. Over his last 10 games, Forsberg has 10 goals and 7 assists while averaging 4.3 shots per game. At single-digit projected ownership, I love him as a leverage play tonight.
Joda: Connor McDavid – MacKinnon and Auston Matthews project far better due to stronger matchups, so we get one of the rare nights each season where McDavid will have minuscule ownership. The Jets have dropped 3 straight games against average teams, allowing 13 goals in the process. McDavid is an intriguing target in tournaments.
