NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, October 17

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Moneyball16: Kirill Kaprizov – I always love Kirill. For one, he always seems to be under $8k. And tonight, he has a great matchup in Montreal. With Minnesota only having 11 forwards (missing Matt Boldy), Kirill should be in line for more minutes than normal as well.

ezellmt: Kirill Kaprizov – The Wild will be short-handed due to injuries and salary cap challenges, so they’ll only dress 11 forwards. That means double-shifting for some forwards, and Kaprizov is an excellent candidate for extra shifts. In a favorable matchup against Montreal, it’s hard to imagine he doesn’t find the scoresheet at least once with the potential for much more.

Joda: Kirill Kaprizov – Kirill’s price stands out in a plus matchup against the Canadiens. He logged 22 minutes last game and figures to see just as much with Matt Boldy week-to-week. Look for a multi-point night from “The Thrill.”

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
