What is going on Grinders?! NBA Season is always exciting, and this year we are bringing you a weekly article to cover the unique GPP format over at No House Advantage! Of course, because of my love for props, I’ll be bringing the heat every week to try and help you guys take down some big money over there. As NBA props become more popular, we are seeing some very unique contests and No House Advantage is just that!
No House Advantage GPP Format
No House Advantage has a GPP contest that allows you to pick 10 different players. Each prop will represent a number of points, starting at 1 point and sequentially up to 10 points. Thus, the 10 players you select are critical to your success. The idea is to select the prop that will give you 10 points as the one you feel best about. The prop that will give you 1 point might be one you feel good about as well, but make sure for 10 points it’s your “lock button”, so to speak. So ultimately, Player 1 will give you 1 point, Player 2 will give you 2 points, Player 3 will give you 3 points, etc. I think you get the idea here.
No House Advantage has given us some really good GPP contests on a nightly basis. This format is fantastic for those of you that love props as much as I do, because we get to merge the DFS concept with our love for props. It’s the best of both worlds if you ask me.
Each week I am hoping to put you on a few plays that should yield tremendous success and put you in a position to take down 1st place. Let’s dig in!
Key Selections for February 15th
I’m going to provide you with my three favorite picks for your 10, 9, and 8 point slots. Here we go!
10 Point Slot: Nikola Vucevic – 16.5 Points
The Chicago Bulls will be down several players tonight, and one of them is a main component in Mr. Derozan. As a result, Vucevic and LaVine will be looked upon to shoulder the scoring load. This isn’t anything new for Vucevic, as he did this almost every season when he was with the Orlando Magic. In addition to this, a matchup with the Indiana Pacers should allow him to put up big numbers tonight, and I think he’s close to passing this number in the 1st half alone.
Pick: Over 16.5 Points
9 Point Slot: Jimmy Butler – 19.5 Points
There will a continued theme with this player, as the Heat are also down a pile of players tonight. The big name here is Tyler Herro. With him being out, a large part of the scoring will be rolling through Jimmy Butler. He is already scoring 20 points most games with Herro in, and at this line, this is a no-brainer plug-and-play for me.
Pick: Over 19.5 Points
8 Point Slot: Malcolm Brogdon – 12.5 Points
Lets just call this a broken record write-up session, as once again we have another team here with a key player out. The Celtics are still without Jaylen Brown (Robert Williams is questionable), and it’s a matchup with the Detroit Pistons. Malcolm Brogdon will have to continue to score the ball more, and I still think he can get over this number even with Marcus Smart expected back tonight.
Pick: Over 12.5 Points
Closing Thoughts
My hope is that this article gives you a better chance to be in the winner’s circle every week for the contests you enter. Let’s see these players continue to benefit from teammates being out, and they should carry us to the finish line. Let’s Win!
