Week 6
I would love to come on here and gloat about all of the great plays that were mentioned in last week’s article, but we had no shortage of amazing plays on that slate. The chalk smashed, the pivot plays smashed, and even the long-shot plays smashed. It was the highest scoring week of the season and one of the highest scoring weeks I can remember. Despite having a lot of high scores throughout my lineups, my best squad was held back by A.J. Brown. After catching three passes on the first drive, he didn’t add a single fantasy point the rest of the game. Somehow it feels worse losing on weeks where you feel like you got more right than wrong, but that’s the nature of DFS.
I love being honest about my play each week. For starters, I think it’s incredible important for content providers to be accountable. I am the lucky one in this exchange, so the least I can do is use the players that I recommend and then come back the next week with an honest review about how everything went. It can be extremely deflating for DFS players to go on Twitter and see nothing but winning screenshots. It’s essential to realize that everyone has bad weeks. Even the best DFS players in the world will have a number of bad weeks throughout the course of the season. Keep your mind on the long-term goal of making this a profitable season.
Now, let’s dive into this week’s slate.
