This is our last decent-sized slate of the season and it should be a good one. All four of the games are expected to be competitive and I plan to do very little on Saturday and Sunday. Order some food and stock up on beer. Bring on the football! Both sites have the full four-game slate as an offering, but they differ in terms of their biggest tournaments. DraftKings is focusing more on the four-gamer and FanDuel is focusing more on the two separate two-gamers. I will break down each position in the context of the four-game slate and then give my core plays for each of the two-game slates.
Quarterback
There are only eight quarterbacks on the slate this week, so we might as well talk about all of them. At the top, we have Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. They get to square off against each other in a game that I personally think will decide the AFC. Even in the frigid Buffalo weather last week, Allen was able to throw for five touchdowns. He had over 300 passing yards and then racked up 66 more on the ground. The Chiefs are a great matchup too, as they are below league average against the run and the pass. On the season, the Chiefs have allowed the second most fantasy points to quarterbacks. The Bills seem to be the trendy pick in that game, but I will never bet against Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs. He also threw for five touchdowns last week and has all of his weapons in the passing game at full strength. Allen and Mahomes are the top quarterback plays of the week and strong options in all formats.
