Noto's NFL DFS Core Plays: Week 15
Week 14 Recap
Well last week was a mix of good and bad results. I’ll start with the bad, since it’s always more relatable. To put it simply, my entire DFS week was bad. Two players in my main lineup got benched. In fact, one of them got benched twice in the same game. Cam Newton didn’t play the final snap of the first-half drive and then didn’t play for most of the fourth quarter. Antonio Gibson lost a fumble in a game where Washington was down big and didn’t come back into the game. I had to watch the backups rack up a bunch of garbage time production and nearly complete an epic comeback against the Cowboys. To be honest, it’s not like they were the only players that held my lineups back.
Now to the good results. Quite a few of you reached out to me with tips for my Elf on the Shelf issues. I have to say, you were all clutch in this situation. After hiding the elf in the same few spots each night, we have a whole new game plan for the elf. He toilet papered one of the rooms, he started a bubble bath, he ate some of the left out chocolate, and he was never in the same place again for more than a day at a time. It was fun reading through all of the different ideas and perhaps the most important piece of advice was to set a reminder on your phone for each night. So simple and so obvious, but it had never crossed my mind. It’s safe to say my little one is loving the new and improve elf.
