Slate Updates
I will update this section if there are any injuries that impact the slate or if I have anything to add that wasn’t included in the breakdown below.
Week 15: Three-Game Saturday Slate
This is objectively the best time of year. Other than the constant snow here in Utah, life doesn’t get much better than this. Christmas is right around the corner and we are getting into the the most important weeks of the NFL season. Even better, we get to watch football four days a week. We get the Thursday night game, we get the main slate, we get the Monday night game, and now we get a three-game Saturday slate. For those of you looking at the schedule, next week’s main slate is on Christmas Eve and then we get a three-game slate on Sunday. If you can’t tell, I’m extremely excited for the next couple of weeks.
As was the case for the Thanksgiving slate, this will be an abbreviated version of the main slate article. With only three games on the schedule, there’s less to talk about anyway. Before we get into the positional breakdown, I want to stress the importance of using the late swap feature. Unless you are mass-multi entering (MME) the slate, you should be cognizant of where each of your lineups sits in the context of the slate. If one lineup gets off to a poor start in the first game, you should swap off of the chalk in the next two games. If you want to get contrarian early and it pay off, you might want to pivot to some chalk in the later games. The goal is to give every lineup you build the best chance possible and you can only do that by utilizing the late swap feature on these small slates.
