Slate Updates
As always, I’ll provide any updates to the slates in this section.
Wildcard Weekend
Russell Wilson ended up being my best call from Week 18, which says all you need to know about the week. Meaningless football doesn’t have the same appeal, so I am extremely excited for the playoffs to start this week. The NFL wants to maximize the amount of money and attention they can get this weekend, so we have two games on Saturday, three games on Sunday, and one game on Monday night.
The scheduling sort of tied the hands of the DFS sites, but I thought they did a good job of providing contests for everyone. You have the option to play the full six-game slate, you can play the two-game Saturday slate, you can play the three-game Sunday slate, and there are showdown contests for all six games. We only get to sweat Wildcard Weekend one time each season, so I will personally be playing ALL of the slates.
Rather than writing two separate articles for the Saturday and Sunday slates, I decided to combine them into one article. If you are interested in how I feel about players in the context of the full six-game slate, make sure to check out the Consensus Value Rankings. If you have any questions, you know the drill (leave a comment at the bottom of the page).
