Notorious' NFL Lineup Walkthrough (Article) - Week 5
Notorious gives a detailed walkthrough of how he built his main cash game lineup on DraftKings for NFL Week 5. He’ll offer his entire lineup and explain the thought process behind each pick.
Week 5 NFL Lineup

As you know, the goal of a cash game lineup is to have the highest floor possible. With a soft salary structure on DK this week, I wanted to take full advantage by targeting the mis-priced players as well as a few stud players that all have an extremely high floor. We’ve had a full week to go over the advanced stats and matchup breakdown of each player, so I’ll just give my general reasoning behing each pick.

Drew Brees – At this point, we all know that Brees is much better at home. With a soft salary cap, it was easy to fit him in your lineups without sacrificing the rest of your team. A plus matchup against the Buccaneers was just icing on the cake.
Le’Veon Bell – The Jaguars have been equally inefficient against the run and the pass this season. I knew that I wanted to have some exposure to the Steelers and with my heart set on Brees at QB, Bell was the obvious choice. I’m expecting a big workload and another solid outing from Bell.
DeMarco Murray – Once again, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. The Cowboys have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL and face a Texans defense that has been subpar against the run. That mixed with a $7,500 price tag made Murray an easy choice this week.

Jeremy Maclin – Maclin leads the Eagles in targets this season and it’s not even close. He’s a deep threat down the field with a favorable matchup against the Rams. The targets were the main reason I liked him this week.
Kelvin Benjamin – Severely under-priced. Benjamin should be one of the highest owned players this week as he has been a top-10 WR this season and gets to face a banged up Bears secondary.
DeAndre Hopkins – Andre Johnson is listed as questionable, but is expected to play today. Either way, I like the matchup against the Cowboys and think the Texans will try to get him more touches this week.

Travis Kelce – Kelce at $3,000? He should be the highest owned TE on DK this week. I couldn’t fade him in cash games.
Rashad Jennings – Jennings is also underpriced and faces the league’s worst run defense in the Falcons. The old “fade him at your own risk” applies here, and I’m not willing to take that risk.
Denver Broncos – The Broncos “much-improved” defense hasn’t exactly been dominant, but they draw a nice matchup at home against Drew Stanton and the Cardinals. They are also coming off of a bye week. I like their chances to force some turnovers.
That about does it for me, as always, best of luck this week Grinders!
