OwnersBox NFL DFS Format
What is up, Grinders! We are here to talk about OwnersBox! This site is very creative for NFL, as it has given us what we’ve been craving for what feels like an eternity. Straightforward football builds. No kickers, no defenses, just the position players that get it done for us week in and week out. Did I mention there was a Superflex?! Yes, we have the ability to play two quarterbacks in the format over at OwnersBox. It consists of the following positions: QB, RB x2, WR x2, TE, Flex x2, and the Superflex, which could be a QB/RB/WR/TE. This is revolutionary for the DFS enthusiast, and I am here to talk through a handful of plays each week that I hope carry us to the finish line.
Top NFL DFS Picks for Week 15
It feels like the pickings are slim this week on the slate in terms of great spots. We have a couple that we can still target and I want to explore those here!
Dak Prescott ($7,500)
Dak has been really good down the stretch and has put together some really incredible fantasy performances as well. On paper, this should be one of the more competitive games on the slate. If the Cowboys want to continue to cement their place in the league as an upper-echelon team, they will need to win this game. It should be a bit tougher on the road, but the numbers over the past few weeks tell me that another impressive box score may be on the horizon. One of the things that stands out to me is that in the last 5 games, he’s had at least 2 touchdown passes. Additionally, he’s been over 250 passing yards in 4 out of the 5. This offense is humming along, and I’m expecting Dak to be the reason it keeps pushing forward.
Jayden Reed ($5,000)
The Tampa Bay defense has definitely been a bit more generous through the air than on the ground. The QB DVP and WR DVP are phenomenal, while the RB DVP leaves a lot to be desired. I think the Green Bay offense could take off in this spot through the air. Getting exposure to Reed with the WR room down a player feels like an exceptional target. Last week, we saw him pick up 10 targets without Watson, and I think we see something close to the same this week. He was already picking up at least 5 in most of the past 5 games, and I think expecting 8 isn’t a tall order here. I love this spot for Reed, and hopefully it pays off for us.
Puka Nakua ($5,800)
Has any secondary been more dreadful than the Washington Commanders? Not many, and I think the Rams have a field day in this game. Stafford is continuing to push the ball down the field, and Nakua is basically 1a or 1b depending on what game it is. Washington is presenting the Rams with the worst passing DVOA on the slate, and I’m looking for Nakua to absolutely be a slate-breaker. This is one of the juiciest spots on the board, and I’m here for all parts of it.
Week 15 Closing Thoughts
We have a few good men that stand out above the rest for me this week. I’m hoping they help us to get to the top of the leaderboards. Good luck to everyone!
