OwnersBox NFL DFS Format
What is up, Grinders! We are here to talk about OwnersBox! This site is very creative for NFL, as it has given us what we’ve been craving for what feels like an eternity. Straightforward football builds. No kickers, no defenses, just the position players that get it done for us week in and week out. Did I mention there was a Superflex?! Yes, we have the ability to play two quarterbacks in the format over at OwnersBox. It consists of the following positions: QB, RB x2, WR x2, TE, Flex x2, and the Superflex, which could be a QB/RB/WR/TE. This is revolutionary for the DFS enthusiast, and I am here to talk through a handful of plays each week that I hope carry us to the finish line.
Top NFL DFS Picks for Week 16
It feels like the pickings are slim this week on the slate in terms of great spots. We have a couple that we can still target, and I want to explore those here!
Drake London ($5,000)
There has been yet another quarterback change in Atlanta. Boy, do I dislike how Arthur Smith is handling this team. The good news though is the quarterback change should help to open up the passing game a bit more, which will help out everyone involved. We know what London can do with competent quarterback play, and I think this is a week for him to shine at a fairly low price.
Nick Mullens ($5,800)
The Vikings are at home this week and still have a shot to get into the wildcard if they can win this game. I personally don’t think they pull off the win, but I do think they find ways to push this offense along in hopes of doing so. We saw Mullens throw for 303 yards in the Bengals game, and I think we see him in the mid-200s in this one. He has a full compliment of weapons with Justin Jefferson back and should find ways to move the chains and put a few points on the board. I do think Detroit is the better team here, and since I expect the Vikings to be playing from behind, Mullens sets up nicely in his home dome.
Joe Flacco ($5,800)
The bottom line is Flacco is just getting it done right now. He has thrown for over 250 in every game started this season and has at least 2 touchdown passes as well. They’ve also won 2 of the last 3 and are getting close to locking up a playoff spot. He gets a matchup with another gunslinger in Case Keenum this week in Houston. I love the fact that the elements won’t be involved here. Sign me up for old man Flacco and this reinvigorated Cleveland passing game.
Week 16 Closing Thoughts
This feels like a week where we can make our mark folks. We’ve gathered the data, and we know the standings. Now let’s go out there and execute! Good luck to everyone!
