I love being able to play new sites with new formats and am thrilled that we have a new site breaking into the salary cap space. It is my hope that from this content, we will have a few GPP-winning slips along the way. Thank you for joining me each week on the journey to 1st place!

OwnersBox NFL DFS Format

What is up, Grinders! We are here to talk about OwnersBox! This site is very creative for the NFL, as it has given us what we’ve been craving for what feels like an eternity. Straightforward football builds. No kickers, no defenses, just the position players that get it done for us week in and week out. Did I mention there was a Superflex?! Yes, we have the ability to play two quarterbacks in the format over at OwnersBox. It consists of the following positions: QB, RB x2, WR x2, TE, Flex x2, and the Superflex, which could be a QB/RB/WR/TE. This is revolutionary for the DFS enthusiast, and I am here to talk through a handful of plays each week that I hope carry us to the finish line.

Top NFL DFS Picks for Week 17

We are back with a fairly normal-sized slate with 13 games in store, where the past couple of weeks we were around 10. We have a few nice spots to target, and I’m hoping they lead us to the promised land.

CJ Stroud ($6,700)

Stroud has cleared the concussion protocol and will be suiting up this week. I’m hoping he is still in a rhythm as he’s been out for 2 games in a row. We understand that the Tennessee defense will give up a few yards through the air, and we’ve seen Stroud do just that for most of the season. It also doesn’t hurt that his first game back is in his home stadium. He’s been able to spread the ball around this season and will only be without Tank Dell as one of his primary receivers. Everyone else is back in the fold, and I’m looking for him to be a difference-maker in tournaments.

Tyler Boyd ($4,800)

The Bengals are still likely without Mr. Chase this week, so the receiving core will have a few extra opportunities again. Tyler Boyd saw 7 targets last week, and while he did not get into the end zone, I think we see something similar in this spot. They are on the road against the Chiefs and the running game has left a lot to be desired. Not only were the targets there last week, but he was also on the field for 80% of the snaps. This is a recipe for production and I want to get in on the fun with the low price presented this week.

Chris Olave ($6,100)

Olave gets a fairly nice matchup against the Buccaneers secondary this week. Let us just hope Derek Carr can make it through the whole game without an injury. Olave gets plenty of targets in this offense, but he also has big play ability. He could really pop this week and help us get to a tournament takedown. I know they had to play from behind against the Rams last week, but we’ve seen him settle in with 8-9 targets per game consistently, and if we can get one big TD play from him this week, I think he’s possibly in the winning lineup.

Week 17 Closing Thoughts

I love this slate this week, and there are tons of directions to go. I think we are headed towards yet another winning week! Let’s crush it, folks!
