OwnersBox NFL DFS Format
What is up, Grinders! We are here to talk about OwnersBox! This site is very creative for NFL, as it has given us what we’ve been craving for what feels like an eternity. Straightforward football builds. No kickers, no defenses, just the position players that get it done for us week in and week out. Did I mention there was a Superflex?! Yes, we have the ability to play two quarterbacks in the format over at OwnersBox. It consists of the following positions: QB, RB x2, WR x2, TE, Flex x2, and the Superflex, which could be a QB/RB/WR/TE. This is revolutionary for the DFS enthusiast, and I am here to talk through a handful of plays each week that I hope carry us to the finish line.
Top NFL DFS Picks for Week 4
This week, there are a handful of games that should be a back-and-forth affair. I don’t think these are blowouts, but rather offenses that continue to trade shots for 4 quarters. I’m looking for points galore here, and let’s hope that we see the explosion we are looking for.
Davante Adams ($7,200)
Don’t look now, but Davante is back to picking up massive targets in this offense. He’s seen 9, 8, and 20 targets through 3 games. I’m not saying he will pick up 20 this week, but I think double digits are on the horizon, as they will need him to keep up with the explosive Chargers offense. Not only should the targets be there, but he’s been pretty sure-handed and should convert most of these to catches. This should be a big spot for him, and I’m looking for another big performance.
Keenan Allen ($7,000)
We are going with a little correlation this week, and we’re taking Keenan Allen on the other side of Adams. These 2 receivers should see the bulk of the targets (and I also love their 2 running mates, Meyers and Palmer for a full stack of this game). I think Ekeler will be back this week, but this shouldn’t slow down Allen as Mike Williams has been ruled out for the season. Just as Adams has seen massive targets, we’ve seen Allen have 9, 10, and 20 targets through three games. These are almost identical numbers, and I once again think we see double digits for him as well. This feels like the ultimate correlation for the week in my book.
Adam Thielen ($4,600)
The Vikings’ defense quite possibly may be the target of every offense this season on their schedule. This week, they head to Carolina, and while I thought Andy Dalton would be starting, it shouldn’t matter. Thielen has shown that he is the number one option in this offense through the air, and the targets are backing him up. The big thing is that while the Vikings’ defense may be awful, their offense has been able to hang with the best of them. This may, in fact, be the best offensive 0-3 team we have in the league. This offense is going to push Carolina to the brink, and we should see Thielen continue to pile on the catches. This is a fantastic bargain play this week (especially if folks gravitate toward Tank Dell yet again).
Week 4 Closing Thoughts
There are TONS of plays this week that will yield incredible fantasy results. I’m hoping that we pointed out a handful that we can use to get us to the top of the leaderboards. Let’s win Grinders!
