After a rare 11-game slate on Wednesday night, the National Hockey League follows that up with a solid seven game slate on this Thursday evening. The Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto Maple Leafs and Los Angeles Kings are the biggest favorites on the board, and we have five teams (Boston Bruins, Washington Capitals, Montreal Canadiens, Arizona Coyotes and the Vegas Golden Knights), playing their second game in as many nights.

Andrei Vasilevskiy, Tampa Bay Lightning – Andrei Vasilevskiy is the top cash game option in goal this evening as he faces a Montreal Canadiens team playing on consecutive nights. The Canadiens have struggled to score this season (25th overall in the National Hockey League in goals per game), and the goals will be tough to come by tonight at the Amalie Arena. The Lightning are a strong defensive team and Vasilevskiy has posted elite numbers in 2017-18 (2.13 GAA, .932 SV%, 4 SHO). Look for the Bolt’s netminder to cruise to an easy victory tonight, and don’t be surprised if he ends up with a shutout.
