PGA DFS Core Plays: AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Top-ranked grinder, Notorious, breaks down his favorite daily fantasy golf plays at various salary ranges for the coming week’s golf tournament. Who should you be building around? Find out below.

Core Plays

It was a really solid week of DFS for yours truly and it sounds like a number of you had nice weeks as well. The new approach to the core plays article received positive feedback, so we will run that format back again this week. I will be doing three core plays that I like for all formats (cash games, small-field tournaments, and large field-tournaments) and I’ll follow it up by giving my thoughts on the rest of the field. If you aren’t a fan of pro-ams or a fan of three-course rotations, this isn’t your favorite tournament of the year. While I love Pebble Beach, the television coverage is always awful and the courses play super easy given the format of the event.

All three courses measure less than 7,100 yards and all three are gettable when the wind is down. Monterey Peninsula should play the easiest of the three, but golfers will play one round on each before the cut is made. Pebble Beach is the host course and will be played for the final round on Sunday.
