Corales Championship
Greetings, Grinders! For the first time, full attention will be on the Corales Championship in the Dominican Republic this week. This event is usually held alongside a WGC event, but the 2020 schedule changes have allowed this event to be held as a standalone tournament. However, with it being held in a foreign country the week after the U.S. Open, we have one of the worst fields in recent memory. Still, there are plenty of big DFS prize pools to attack!
As for the course, this is a lengthy par 72, but it shouldn’t play as a super difficult layout. The fairways are very wide, and the only real defense the course has is wind. The winning score here last year was Graeme McDowell at 18 under par, while Brice Garnett won with the same score the year before. Bombers will have an edge here thanks to the course length and the wide fairways, and you want to target birdie makers.
