John Deere Classic

Hello, Grinders! Welcome to your the GPP breakdown for the John Deere Classic! This is one of my favorite tournaments of the year, as it is contested just a few towns away from me, which makes this the most accessible event for me to attend on an annual basis. I know that the field is terrible and we have The Open Championship next week, but I’m still focused on the current week. There is actually a nice advantage to be had for those that are informed on this tournament!

TPC Deere Run is your host course for this event, and this always sets up as one of the easiest courses in the PGA Tour rotation every year. In fact, TPC Deere Run has hosted this event for 19 straight years, and the winning score has never been worse than 16 strokes under par.
