PGA DFS GPP Breakdown: Travelers Championship

Top-ranked grinder, STLCardinals84, will break down his top GPP golf targets for the coming week’s tournament, going over his favorite plays at various price ranges. Who better than PGA DFS master, STLCards, to help you on your way?

Travelers Championship

Welcome back, Grinders! We are coming off yet another breathtaking major tournament at the U.S. Open, and it was nice to see the USGA get out of the way this year to allow the golfers to do their jobs without controversy. Congratulations are in order for Gary Woodland on his huge victory! Though The Open Championship is quickly approaching, we get a bit of a breather with the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Connecticut. This course is a very short par 70 course by today’s PGA Tour standards, and golfers need to be solid with their approach shots while scoring well on par fours in order to contend here. There are only two par fives at this course, and they don’t play all that easy, so par four scoring is of prime importance.

Most of the golfers that I am targeting this week have approach play and par four scoring ability in mind, because this course will make you pay if you are not playing the par fours well. Let’s take a look at some of my favorite GPP targets for this full field event.
