Greetings, Grinders! We are back with another Florida swing event this week, with the Valspar Championship on the calendar for us. It is interesting to see so many big names teeing it up after a grueling week at TPC Sawgrass for THE PLAYERS Championship, but we have a fairly strong field scheduled for this tournament. In fact, the 20 most expensive golfers in this event all played last week, with a majority of them making the cut and playing four grueling rounds at TPC Sawgrass in between a ton of weather delays. Given that the tournament did not finish until late Monday afternoon, I would not be surprised to see more withdrawals prior to the start of this event. Keep a very close eye on the field list as we near tee times on Thursday. We could see some golfers tee it up and not look sharp with a bit of a “Players Championship hangover” so to speak.
