All right, all right, all right! It’s about time we had a good day of picks. I am always the first to admit when my plays don’t pan out, so I don’t feel too bad talking about when performed well. Of the nine picks, we didn’t have a single golfer shoot worse than two over par. Considering how many blowup rounds were out there, that’s not too bad. On top of that, Jon Rahm, Kevin Na, Bubba Watson, Tiger Woods, and Patrick Rodgers all finished under par. I easily cashed in showdown and am sitting pretty in my weekend contests. Let’s carry some of that momentum into the final round.

While I always recommend targeting at least two golfers near the top of the leaderboard for Sunday showdown contests, I love the idea of targeting golfers that go out earlier in the day. The course continues to get firmer and faster and we saw that on full display Saturday. The greens were basically brown by the end of the day. Additionally, we are expecting some heavy wind on Sunday. There should be 20+ MPH gusts throughout the day, but the highest sustained winds start around 12:00 PM local time. If you like to see professional golfers struggle, tune in Sunday.
